Varicose veins predominantly affect women, with early signs often going unnoticed. Ignored, it can lead to serious complications like chronic venous disease. Many perceive it as a cosmetic issue affecting older individuals, but young women are also at risk due to lifestyle and genetic factors. Medtronic aimed to educate potential patients about the disease, its symptoms, and treatment options.

Approach
Spurwing’s integrated campaign targeted women in their 30s in Singapore and Malaysia, as they were likely to experience early symptoms and be at risk later in life. Using influential voices on social media and support from vascular surgeons, the campaign launched on Instagram.
Influencers held panel discussions and IG live streams to build an online and offline community of women and encourage early diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins
